Squidoo is far more than just another online community or publishing platform as its own blurb would suggest. Since it hit the web a few years back, many people have used it as their main source of income, such is its accessibility and ease of use.
Using lenses, the name by which pages on Squidoo is referred; people are able to place pithy and concise snapshots of what a topic is all about. Links can then be embedded, directing visitors to main content pages; thus driving up traffic ratings.
As a portal for selling services, Squidoo works effectively too of course, so online marketers can really make inroads into the revenue streams by harnessing its power.
Creating an account on Squidoo is free, and extremely straight forward. As a result, it is perfectly possible to create a lens and have it working within little more than five minutes; less if you know what you are doing and have it prepared of course.
