If you are interested in finding out the basics for marketing your MLM online, this is the second tip. The first tip was that you need a system in order to market your business online. You could manage without a system, but having one will save you lots of time, energy and money. The next MLM Basics For Marketing Online Tip is also a biggy! When your system is up and running, the next thing you need is Training”! This is the biggest problem in Network Marketing. Although it is called ‘marketing’, no-one give you any marketing training. How can I get training? Well if you took tip number 1, getting a system, you would now have access to training. If you still do not have a system you may have to search for a mentor, and hope that they can give you enough training. Otherwise you would have to learn from your mistakes, just like a huge number of people do online. Sadly if you have been doing MLM offline you will probably go out and put out spam all over the internet as you have been taught. This is the way the amateur networkers work. And the results of your actions may put large numbers of people off you.
Training is hugely important for marketing on the internet. Think how long it would take to be trained in a new job; its the same with internet marketing. You are very unlikely to know exactly what to do on your first day online. Everything you have been taught about the ‘old school’ methods of Network Marketing does NOT work online! Attraction Marketing is used online to find prospects. We do not chase prospects around, we do not cold call anyone and we do not pester people as they go about their work. Everything you learned about offline is pretty much back to front on the internet.

You will need to be trained in Attraction marketing, as well as some of the different paid methods you can use. When you understand how to market, you will be able to attract leads into your business. First of all you should just train in one or two methods of lead generation. When you are getting 10-20 leads a day from your efforts, you can continue to do that method, but also get some training on another method and stick at that until you have mastered that one too.
Eventually you will have built up several different ways to attract leads into your business. But all this takes time. Do not give up after a month or two, because it does take time to understand marketing online completely. You may feel that you are doing everything you have been taught, but you are not getting the results you hoped for. You could be missing one little thing. Just go over the training again, and see if you can pick up something you may have missed the first time. And then just keep going!
