Free Opportunities For New Bands To Be Heard Provided By IMRadio

I pretended playing my toy guitar along with videos on MTV since I was a kid and I have dreamed of having my tunes heard on the radio.  But even if you’re a real good band, getting air time can be pretty difficult.  Music Videos

Five years ago, I was able to form a band and obtain some opportunities to play on some local stations.  Although luck is not the correct word.  We have worked pretty hard to meet the right people who have been able to get us on the air.  You can call that real challenge. 

New bands face an uphill climb because radio stations often do not put unknowns into their rotation.  The bands that you hear on the radio are not necessarily the most talented.  Often, they are the ones with the most financial backing and marketing efforts. 

It is good to hear that the Internet now helps in changing the industry by  allowing new bands to be heard.  This web site actually claims and say that it is by musicians, for musicians and evidently, it sure is.  I was able to register for an account quickly, and then I uploaded several of our song files into IMRadio’s rotation, and now our songs are receiving free radio airplay in more than 100 countries.  Air Play

As a music lover, I like being able to hear other new artists, and appreciate their talent.  Aside from that, poets and comedians are heard on IMRadio.  I have suggested IMRadio to a few of the acts that I often see around town at the clubs, and it is exciting to see them beginning to build a following, thanks to IMRadio, as well. 

My band has a growing fan base now and I am became more excited to see that my band was given the chance to be heard.  IMRadio has a message forum, giving the bands and their fans a communication venue as well for the bands to communicate with other bands.
