As to if they will let you out for threatening? No, they won't do that.

If you use more than 50% of your minutes as roaming they WILL cancel your contract and you will not have to pay an ETF, that is absolutely true. On the other hand, you generally have to show a "pattern" of excessive roaming, a single month won't do it. It usually takes 2 or 3 months in a row to get noticed and get your letter from them stating that they will be terminating your contract at the end of the next billing cycle.

As to movie phone, it won't stay connected long enough, you'll be having to re-dial constantly - What you want is a service like freeconferecnecall.com that terminates the call in an area code that has excessive "termination fees" that the phone company has to pay (they can not charge it to you)

You can actually create an account, call the conference number, put that number on hold and call the number again, in essence having both of your lines calling the same expensive number, doubling the number of minutes you are using in the same time frame. (Just find out how to do a "2 way call" on your cell phone...)

These number for freeconferencecall.com are "local" (not 800) numbers that terminate in po-dunk areas of South Dakota, Iowa etc.

It will certainly get your account noticed much quicker than just an hour or two on roaming. Roaming all the rest of your calls wouldn't hurt either... :)

It's not going to happen over-night, but they will cancel your contract. Just make sure you know exactly when your nights/weekend begin and end so you don't use up your minutes on your regular plan.
References :
All Providers charge a early termination fee. It is a max of $200 dollars and drops $10 a month for each month you keep your contract after the first 6 months. No you will not get sued. They will keep your service on, and when you get your bill all those charges will be on it. When you don't pay the bill, it will eventually go to an outside collections agency. When this happens, it will go on your credit report, hurting your credit. After that, it will be harder for you to get phone service anywhere else.

Just pay it.
References :
Can (Or will) Sprint persue a civil suit if I do this?
Just to begin, I did not have a change of heart. The service is just terrible, for reasons to long to get into here.

Service is terrible and they want $200 to let me out of contract. Well I was looking online, and apparently while most contracts, including mine, have free roaming, cell phone companies still have to pay and average of 69 cents per minute to cover it, and if you use roaming too much, after a period of time, any cell provider will drop you, and if they drop you there's no ET fees, unless the reason they drop you is for nonpayment.

But I have a better idea, what if I call them get the highest ranking supervisor I can, and say, you can let me out now without the fee, OR I can set my phone to "roam only" and (Using free nights and weekends) place a ten hour call to, say, movie phone, each and every night costing you hundreds daily until you drop me.

My questions are:

A. When I give them this alternative, will they take my terms

B. Since it is intentional and premeditated, would the be able to sue me for the cost
I pay NOTHING for roaming. Sprint gets stuck with those charges. Read the question. I'm not refusing to pay my bills.
